Khatereh Hatami added to series ‘Dr. Mahan’s Family’

Actress Khatereh Hatami has joined a new series project ‘Dr. Mahan’s Family’.

Directed by Ali-Mohammad Ghasemi, the shooting for the film is underway in the northern cities of Iran and Khatereh Hatami has been added to the cast.

‘Dr. Mahan’s Family’ is a movie produced for teens and young adults.

The Tehran scenes of the movie has been previously captured and directed by Rama Qavidel.

The social family drama focuses on animal rights and environmental protection.

Amin Zendegani, Setareh Eskandari, Shiva Ebrahimi, Bahram Shah-Mohammadlou, Arastou Khosh-Razm, Hadis Fouladvand and Amir-Hossein Seddigh star in the series.

Born in 1983, Hatami made her cinematic debut in 2002 by playing in the movie ‘Navel’, directed by Mohammad Shiravani.

She has performed in the movies ‘Dawn’ (2007),  ‘Quarantine’ (2007), ‘Girls’ (2009), ‘Through the City’ (2010) and ‘A World Filled with Hope’ (2012).

Hatami has also appeared in the television series ‘Dirty Money’ (2003), ‘Only Because of You’ (2003), ‘The Safe’ (2009), ‘The Long Path’ (2012) and ‘Long Sleep’ (2013).
